FLOSSING

Is it ok to floss your teeth at work?

I have seen many people brushing their teeth but only some people do flossing at their workplace.

“In some workplaces, your co-workers might give you a funny look if they catch you flossing in the bathroom. In places like Brazil, everyone in the office goes into the bathroom to both floss and brush after lunch time (which is awesome!).”(Burhenne, 2013, para.1).

FIVE REASONS.TO FLOSS YOUR TEETH DAILY:

1.     Flossing and brushing are more effective than brushing alone.
2.     Flossing protects your gums.
3.     Flossing help prevent disease.
4.     Flossing also banish bad breath.
5.     Flossing removes food stuck in between the teeth.

Types of floss

Depending on the condition of your gum and space between the tooth, floss are of two types.

(Floss)

Waxed or String floss is used when the space in between the tooth is tight.

Unwaxed or filament floss is used if you have larger space in between the teeth.

How to Floss your Teeth

Flossing helps prevent the health and aesthetics of your smile. The Proper technique of flossing is shown in this video.

Mouthwash is an antiseptic, also necessary after flossing. I will be telling you about this topic in my next post.
